Red Banded Rockfish

Similar Fish:  Copper rockfish, ocean perch, Vermilion Rockfish

Description: Firm with medium flakes, similar to other rockfish. The flavor is more pronounced and interesting than other rockfish.

Fun Facts: The age at maturity varies widely for these fish. They can take anywhere from a couple of years in warmer southern waters to almost 20 years in cooler northern waters.
